Illinois Science + Technology Park (ISTP) is located within the Village of Skokie’s downtown business district. A cafe/restaurant is in the Park and open Monday through Friday. The downtown Skokie mix of merchants and restaurants is comprised primarily of traditional independently operated and owned businesses, with several national franchises represented. Approximately one mile north is the Village's West Dempster Retail District and approximately two miles north is Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center, the third largest open-air, upscale mall in Illinois.
The Village of Skokie offers easy access via car or train to Chicago which offers something for everyone and is minutes away. You can visit world-class museums, dine at one of many Michelin-star restaurants or catch a show in one of over 200 theaters.
