American Landmark Properties purchased 735 North Water Street in 1988 for $9,850,000. The 292,000-square-foot office, retail and parking complex was the second-largest private office building in Wisconsin. American Landmark Properties was responsible for the acquisition, syndication, planning/design, comprehensive rehabilitation, financing and marketing of the property and increased the building’s occupancy from 57% to 97%. The project was refinanced twice and subsequently sold for $20,750,000 in 2001.
