Yisroel Gluck is the founder and President of American Landmark Properties. Mr. Gluck graduated from Chicago’s Roosevelt University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has over 35 years of experience in real estate specializing in syndication, acquisition, development, rehabilitation and financing. Mr. Gluck has been a resident for the past 30 years in the Peterson Park neighborhood on Chicago’s far north side. He is a member of the Board of Directors and is a past President of the Bais Yaakov Hebrew Parochial School in Chicago. Mr. Gluck is a past President of Agudath Israel. He is a founder and President of Bais Yaakov High School of Chicago.
Barbara A. Carley is a Senior Vice President with American Landmark Properties, with over 25 years of commercial management and leasing experience in the greater Chicago, Boston and Indianapolis markets. In addition to coordinating the corporate operations for American Landmark Properties, Ms. Carley is integrally involved in all property investments with extensive experience in the management and leasing of office, industrial, retail and residential properties across all classes. Ms. Carley was formerly Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE and Equity Office Properties, with responsibility for the business development, marketing, operations and financial performance of portfolios in excess 52 million square. In addition to her corporate leadership roles, Ms. Carley also served as Director of the Willis Tower and has spearheaded property management and/or leasing efforts at many noteworthy developments including Windham Lakes, Woodfield Corporate Center, Macy’s Chicago Warehouse, 311 South Wacker Drive, NBC Tower, Oakbrook Terrace Tower, the Boeing HQ at 100 North Riverside Plaza, and the Glen Town Center. Ms. Carley received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Valparaiso University and went on to do her Master’s work in Public Policy (MPP) at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, as part of a joint program with the Law School. She is a past member of the Board of Directors for BOMA Chicago and earned the RPA® designation from BOMI International.
John Roeser is an Executive Vice President with American Landmark Properties. He leads the commercial property leasing, marketing and redevelopment activities within the company portfolio. Mr. Roeser is well known for the creation of strategic asset management plans that enhance, leasing, tenant retention and create long-term value. Mr. Roeser is also actively involved in the acquisitions, dispositions and financing of all company projects. Prior to joining American Landmark Properties, Mr. Roeser was an Executive Vice President for European America Realty, Ltd. (EAR Chicago). At EAR Chicago, he oversaw leasing and marketing activities in the Midwest. During Mr. Roeser’s career, he has been directly involved in the acquisition/disposition of approximately $2 billion in real estate, including the acquisition of Willis Tower. Mr. Roeser has also been involved in more than 1,000 lease transactions with many notable tenants including Staples, Inc., Emblem Health, First American Title, Prudential Insurance, the GSA, Hartford Insurance, AT&T, SNR Denton and Schiff Hardin. With more than 5,000,000 square feet of leases completed in his career, Mr. Roeser has an extensive network of corporate and brokerage relationships.
Mr. Roeser is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois.
Margarita Valdes is responsible for all aspects of cash management and financial reporting for American Landmark Properties, including operations and financial analysis, budget preparations, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting support staff. Prior to joining American Landmark Properties, Ms. Valdes was employed by Argent Healthcare for five years as Human Resources Assistant and Staff Accountant. Ms. Valdes received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Robert Morris College.
Yami Merza is Senior Administrator, Real Estate Services. Ms. Merza assists the Executive Vice President and President on new project developments, acquisitions and property sales. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the corporate office, developing and enforcing company policies, as well as assisting in the leasing and managing of all company assets nationwide. Ms. Merza’s other duties include tenant relations and retention as well as financial analysis of each property.
